I have never been one of those people who becomes overly concerned at the state of their garden. So long as it looks reasonably neat and tidy, I’m generally happy. But late last summer I noticed that the lawn was becoming very patchy and asked Phil for his advice. He told me that the previous owners had used the wrong seed, and that the grass that was there was under-nourished. He sowed the lawn with a stronger seed and has given it two feeds, but even then I didn’t appreciate the difference it had made until I looked out of my bedroom window and compared my lawn to the untreated one next door. I thought that the best testimonial I could give would be to show the picture that I took, with my lawn on the right of the shot.
